The particles we add to the toothpaste are tiny clusters about 5–10 microns wide.
Inside each cluster there are thousands of nano-crystals only ≈20–50 nanometres across.
When you brush, the outer nano-crystals on each cluster touch the enamel, slip into microscopic defects and start rebuilding mineral. In other words, although we dose the ingredient as safe-to-handle micro-clusters, the part that actually does the job is already nano-sized, so you still get the full remineralising effect. Importantly, the clusters stay intact during brushing, so no free nanoparticles are released into the mouth or the environment.
All our lab and clinical tests confirm this performance.
