How does the cold extraction of cold herbal teas work?

Modified on Thu, 4 Aug, 2016 at 11:20 AM

Cold herbal teas are a great innovation of Istituto Erboristico L’Angelica, elected by the consumer “product of the year 2015”.

L’Angelica cold herbal teas are specially studied, conceived and formulated to provide active substances able to show physiological activity without being a soluble tea which, for technological reasons, require a content of sugar.

Cold extraction is a technique used for the extraction of specific substances. This process is facilitated by the degree of fragmentation of the herbs contained in the filter. Our cold herbal teas are made by dried herbs treated in order to release active substances in a short period of time. In addition, they also contain dry extracts which represent the concentrated source of active substances.
